The Junior Section
The Junior Section of the Company has boys from the age of 8 to 11 years.
The uniform is a Royal blue polo shirt and a Royal blue sweatshirt, worn with dark trousers and black (clean) shoes.
In April 2008 we have 11 members, four of which will reach the upper age limit soon and will move to the Company Section in September.
We meet in the Church hall on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, with occasional Saturday events with other Companies in Worcestershire.
Along with the other sections we attend a Church service on the second Sunday morning of each month.
A little more:
The older members are allowed to attend the annual Church holiday with all the older Boys and Girls Brigade members and Church children.
We also, together with the Girls Brigade have weekends away at local centres, specifically for this age group.
We have a three year badge system that ensures members have a balanced programme covering, physical, creative, social, mental and spiritual activities. This is a very new badge system and many of the subjects taught are modern with up to date presentation techniques, and are attractive to the members.
Some work from the boys - over a few weeks they built and painted there own model aeroplanes!

What do our members say?

The Junior Section Staff
Currently in the Junior Section we have serveral leaders and staff as you can see below!
Terry Bill |
Andy Kimberley |
Richard Batchelor |
Ben Phillips |
Mr.Terry Bill - Office in Charge
Mr. Richard Batchelor - Lieutenant
Mr.Andy Kinberley - Lieutenant (Also Office in Charge of the older Company Section, this enables a link to be made with the boys before they move up)
All of the above have been BB officers for many years and are very experienced. In addition they have all passed the relevant Child protection checks and are fully trained First Aiders.
In addition we also act as a training section for new leaders. Such as Ben Phillips.
When we have new potential leaders or Officers, irrespective of the section they plan to work in, we have them with us for at least six months to gain experience of working with this age group.
Young men in the Company Section working for the highest award in the BB, their Queens Badge, also spend time with us as part of their working for others, and leadership training.
