The Anchor Boys

The Anchor Boys is the youngest and most energetic section of the brigade.  We meet on Friday evenings between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.  Boys aged 5 to 8 come up to the church hall to have fun and be with friends.

On Friday evenings the boys are asked to arrive in clean uniform; which includes, red sweatshirt, black shoes, and dark trousers.

A normal Friday night includes discussions, games, and crafts. All of these help the boys work towards the badge structure, which runs over the three years.

On some Friday nights we will change the running order and will go into the kitchen and cook something exciting, or we will get the paint out and paint a collage to be put up on the wall.

We also try to attend events run by the battalion, which include fun days out to local attractions and different sports days.

All in all we aim to provide an enjoyable time for the boys and hope that they have as much fun as we the staff do.
