Far Forest Weekend Away "Do Something Funny For Money" Friday 13th March (Comic Relief Night) saw members of the 1st Redditch Boys’ & Girls’ Brigade set off for Far Forest (near Kidderminster) dressed in funny red clothing. After the children had sorted out where they were sleeping they all came back to the dining area to decorate some cakes (and each other, have a look at the photos) in red icing.

All weekend the children had lots of fun, on Saturday after a hearty breakfast we set off to Clee Hill for a cardio work-out. In very cold and windy conditions we ascended 500m to the top of Clee Hill and then had our packed lunch before heading back down.

Saturday evening saw a very competitive "Bin bag fashion show" followed by a Sing Star competition.

On Sunday we had a gentle walk through the woods at the Wyre Forest Discovery Centre before the journey back to Redditch.

Everyone had a great time.
