Well done to Harry, Eddie, Jack, Sam & Alex for winning the annual Worcester Drill competition and bringing the Queens & Battalion Colours back to 1st Redditch.
 
When we got to the drill competition our 5 man squad was split in two and Ben was asked to take the two man squad  with only 20 mins notice, whilst Martin who himself had only had a weeks practice at commanding the squad took the three man squad. 

The drill squad have been working hard all year at drill with initially Sam Hodson as commander to whom we owe a big thank you for preparing the squad so well that whatever command Martin and Ben gave them they were able to execute it perfectly. 

Well done to five lads who are excellent at drill!

All nine lads that attended the competition day took part in the other three events (draughts, darts & five-a-side football).  We finished 2nd in the Draughts, last in the Darts and 2nd after penalties in the football.
